There a lot of edTech starups which are trying to reimagine education system. But I think the question of education is phylosophical rather technical. In my opinion we are bad firstly in WHAT we teach and not HOW.
I think the concept of future education system will consist of 3 levels:
Life school is the most essential in this concept because it will teach how to live good life which actually that's all life about. For example: personal phychology (how to accept and change yourself, how to be healthy, how to build relationships with other people, including romantic ones, personal finance, academic basis like math and physics and biolody and social science bc technologies are everywhere, even basics of chores, etc.). Work school should be about how to identify and achiveve personal goals - there are a lot of meta skills like interacting with ppl on the Internet, findging mentors, thrive on rejections which can hugely change person's career in a positive way.
And only after studing meta skills for life and career building we should go further to career level which is about hard skills for particular job like back-end programming or business management. I think that majority of these schools will not be universities, but will be something different, new institutions (except scientific jobs like medicine).
Academic school will be held in universities. But in new-desing academic environment like New Science try or others.
So, education system should be revolutionalized for marginal better, let's rebuild it!
